A round table on "Economic relations between Montenegro and China" was held at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica.

Today, September 15, 2023. at the Faculty of Economics of the UCG in Podgorica, in cooperation with the Chinese Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD), a round table was held on the topic "Economic relations between Montenegro and China".
Our director Milena Lipovina-Božović spoke at this event.
On that occasion, she spoke about the connection between culture and economy. The director emphasized their mutual influence through the influence of cultural wealth, language, art on economic relations, on the one hand, but she also spoke about how economic growth can enable further development and promotion of culture. These two spheres, as emphasized by director Lipovina-Božović, together play a key role in shaping societies and international relations.
Using the example of the activities of the Confucius Institute at UCG, she vividly explained how culture serves as a bridge that connects the world and contributes to strengthening the ties between the two countries.
In addition to the director of the Confucius Institute, representatives of CPAD, the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Faculty of Economics spoke at the round table.
