Succesfull Summer Camp 2018

From July 6th to 19th in 2018, the summer camp project from Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro was held successfully at Changsha University of Science and Technology (CSUST), with a total of 14 participants. In just two weeks, summer camp students had cultural courses and visited famous attractions through Changsha and Beijing trips, experiencing Chinese culture and its unique charm.
On the morning of July 6, 14 summer camp students arrived at Changsha Huanghua Airport under the leadership of the teacher from Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro. Thus, the summer camp trip began. During the trip, CSUST arranged a series of cultural courses for students, such as Chinese cuisine, tie-dye, Chinese painting and calligraphy, which attracted the participants very much. In addition, CSUST organized the students to visit famous scenic spots in Hunan province: the Yuelu Academy, Orange Island, Hunan Provincial Museum, Tianxin Pavilion and Inscribed Bamboo and Wooden Slips Museum, and went to Chairman Mao’s former residence, Shao shan, to pay tribute to this great man. In their spare time, the students also went to the pedestrian street, Pozi Street, Taiping Street and other places to taste the local specialties of Changsha and appreciated the beauty of Chinese tradition. Besides, all the participants attended the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony for students from Equatorial Guinea in CSUST to experience a strong learning atmosphere. After the ceremony, Professor Jiang Changbo, Vice President of Changsha University of Science and Technology, expressed warm welcome to the summer camp students and presented gifts on behalf of the university.
On July 15th, the students ended their trip in Changsha and took the G84 high-speed train to Beijing. The trip to Beijing made the students intoxicated because they visited the Summer Palace, the Bird's Nest, the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, the Palace Museum and the Temple of Heaven. On this background, the students experienced the beauty of Chinese nature and culture, and felt the flourishing development of China, all deeply impressed by them.
On July 18th, the summer camp students took part in the opening ceremony of the 2018 CEEC Confucius Institutes Summer Camp held by Beijing Foreign Studies University under the leadership of the teacher, and performed the traditional Chinese exercise "Five Animals Exercises".
Time flies like an arrow, and the summer camp trip has quietly come to a close in the students’ reluctance. Although the camp has ended, the wonderful memories will last forever. The students said that they had a lot of gains in the trip to China. They hoped to have the opportunity to revisit China. Just like the song "Friendship Forever", which was sung by Chinese and foreign students at the end of the show, the friendship between China and Montenegro is profound and will last Forever.
