Prof. Nicolai Petkov invited lecture

Within the scope of the CS-ICT project, Prof. Dr. Nicolai Petkov from the University of Groningen visited CSET Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (UM) in the period 09-14 September 2015. Professor Petkov is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Computing Science Department. As the invited speaker, Professor Petkov introduced our researchers with the main achievements in the area of pattern recognition, computer vision, image processing and machine learning, with the special applications in biomedicine and diagnostics for automatic detection of anomalies and diseases.
