Call for Participation for the Second Training School for RMAs within the project V4+WB RMA Network Plus of the University of Banja Luka
The University of Banja Luka (UNIBL) has announced the Call for Participation for the second Training School, scheduled to take place on May 15th and 16th, 2024, in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The two-day event is part of the V4+WB RMA Network Plus project led by HETFA Research Institute and supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
About the event: The Training School aims to equip RMAs from the V4+WB region with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively lead and organize research support services. Led by experienced trainers, the sessions will cover topics such as strategic planning, conflict resolution, improving working conditions, and enhancing the visibility of research support professions. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers and establish long-term collaborations within the region.
Note: Attendance is free of charge, but subject to selection procedure. University of Banja Luka will support up to 14 participants from V4 and WB countries by covering the costs of travel and accommodation.
Target group: Research Managers and Administrators (RMAs) including funding and legal advisors, finance managers, research support professionals, innovation managers, technology transfer professionals, professionals working on the interface of science (such as NCPs) based in V4+WB countries.
Selection criteria:
- Professional Background: Preference will be given to RMAs leading and coordinating research support offices or an equivalent role
- Experience: Experienced candidates with significant involvement in research support activities will be prioritized
- Geographical Representation: Visegrad Group (V4) countries and Western Balkans (WB) countries
- Diversity: Preference will be given to applicants from diverse backgrounds, including different academic disciplines, types of institutions, and geographical locations within the eligible regions
