Biography - Jokić Ljiljana

Born on 11.05.1954 in Cetinje. She finished elementary and High school in Podgorica.

Education:

Graduated at the Law Faculty in Podgorica with an average mark 9.5 (1976)

She was rewarded several times during the study.

Master studies at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, 1982 (with highest honor)

PhD studies at the Law Faculty in Podgorica, 1996 (with highest honor)

 

She started wotking at the Law Faculty in Podgorica in 1977.

Elected to all University titles from an assistant to a full professor.

Appointed as an assistant professor in 1997, as an associate professor in 2002 and as a full professor in 2007.

The main subject is General and national legal history.

She had a function of the vice-dean at the Faculty in three terms and number of important functions at the UM.

In her previous scientific and professional work she was devoted to the study of Montenegrin state-legal history, putting in the front of her researches some issues from so-called constitutional era of the Montenego state. She participated in numerous international scientific and professional conferences, seminars and gatherings in the country and abroad.

Author of several books and a significant number of articles in the area of civil law and history of rights published in relevant professional and scientific journals.

The most important published books: General history of the state and law (1997), National law history of Montenegro ( 2002), Constitution for the Principality of Montenegro from 1905 (2005), History of law (2009)
