Biography - Tadić Radmilo

Radmilo Tadić was born in Plužine, Montenegro on 8 November 1963. He finished elementary and high school in Titograd and Faculty of Teacher Education ( now Philosophical Faculty) in Nikšić, being the first one of his generation  to finish it in less than four years. In September 1987. he defended his undergraduate dissertation titled . “Possibility of ethical deliberation on Heidegger's fundamental ontology”[1]’. His first newspaper articles got published in daily newspaper at the beginning of the 90s.

He worked in a number of newsrooms, from 1995. he was a journalist and editor of internal-politics column in Podgorica’s newspaper “Polis”. In daily newspaper “Vijesti”, since its establishment in 1998, he edited the following columns: society, crime news, regional news, special editions and for years he was in charge of tutoring young journalists. From 2012. – 2015. he was a chef editor of daily newspaper  “Blic Crna Gora”.

During his career, Tadić earned a number of awards: annual “Polis” award on the occasion of 40th anniversary of that paper, award by the American Consulate in Podgorica for feuilleton ,, Why Montenegrin  businessmen fail” [2] published by “Vijesti” and an annual “ Wild Beauty Award” bestowed by committee of Ministry of tourism experts for a special edition ‘’Ljeto’’ also published by “Vijesti”. Tadic was an editor of turistic magazine Montenegro, distributed throughout Europe and translated in several languages, for five years and for which he also got a Wild Beauty Award.

He is an author or coauthor of many monographs and other publications concerning the history of Montenegro. Publications in question are: “Magic still lasts”[3] (monograph about the history of theater in Nikšić) which is a first book printed in independent state of Montenegro, “Century of kings harbor”[4] (monograph about the history of Bar harbor ) and other publications concerning history, culture and tradition of some Montenegrin cities.

Tadić is an author of bestseller “Crime chronicle”[5] (monstrous assassinations and mafia encounters in Montenegro from the middle of 20th century until 2017.) that was sold out in a couple of days.

He earned an international certificate - investigative journalism, on training in USA in the year 2002. Organized by consulat of USA in Podgorica and State department.

Since the establishment of Faculty of Sport and Physical Education he is a teaching assistant in subjects Press and agencies, Writing for print media (investigative journalism) and Public relations.
