Biography

Phd Vera Radović

 

Education: Vera Radovic earned her Ph.D. degree 2012, at the Faculty of Philosophy University of Belgrade. She earned a master’s degree after she defended her master’s thesis at the Faculty of Pholosophy University of Belgrade, 2006 (magister study).

Additional Education and Professional Engagement:

She was engaged in research projects in the field of basic research for the Ministry of Education and Sport of the Republic of Serbia, Science and Environment for the period 2006-2010 and 2011-2017 and two TEMPUS projects (Educational Policy Study Programmе in Serbia and Montenegro, JP 159074-2009 and Harmonization and Modernization of the Curriculum for Primary Teacher Education 516762-TEMPUS1-2011-RS-TEMPUS-JPCR). Right now, she is engaged in Erasmus Plus joint project PROVET (Professional Development of Vocation EducationTeachers with Europian Practices.

She was at study visit at Catholic University Leuven (2011), Aarhus University in Copenhagen (2012), ESPE d’Aquitaine - Faculty of education in Bordeaux (2017), Comenius University - Department of Pedagogy and Social Pedagogy in Bratislava (2017).

Professional Experience: In 2017. she became an associate professor at the Teacher Education Faculty of the University of Belgrade, where she teaches the course General Didactic. She is the person in charge for planning, organization and evaluation students' didactical practice.

Also, she teaches the course Gender perspectives in Educational Policy on master level (the result of Tempus project: Educational Policy Study Programmе in Serbia and Montenegro, JP 159074-2009).

She is a member of Balcan Assosiation for Pedagogy and Education (BASOPED).

She was vice dean for interntational cooperation at Teacher Education Faculty University of Belgrade from 2012 to 2015.

She is the editor-in-chief of the Journal Teaching Innovations at the Teacher Education Faculty in University of Belgrade.

She is the founder of Pedagogical Laboratory (supported by Tempus project: Harmonization and Modernization of the Curriculum for Primary Teacher Education 516762-TEMPUS1-2011-RS-TEMPUS-JPCR).

In her professional papers/works, she examines the problems in the field of teaching and learning processes such as teaching methods, evaluation of work and achievements of pupils, curricula, gender diferences in learning, working with gifted children. She is author of two scientific monographies, two scientific studies, one bibliography, more paper work in scientific journals and thematic books in Serbia and abroad.
