The Procedure for Selection of the Rector of the University of Montenegro for Mandate Period 2020-2023 has been Initiated

Today, the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro has started the procedure for election of the Rector of the University of Montenegro for term of office of 2020-2023.

Chairman of the Board of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro Dusko Bjelica, PhD, said that the decision of the Steering Committee UMNE has also defined deadlines for electoral actions.

“Competition for election of the Rector of the University of Montenegro shall be published in the Newsletter of the University of Montenegro and in the daily newspaper published in Montenegro. Applications for the competition shall be submitted within 21 days from the day of publication of the competition in the daily newspaper published in Montenegro,” Chairperson Bjelica announced.

Pursuant to the Decision, persons with an academic title are full professors, employed by the University of Montenegro. The application shall be accompanied by evidence of eligibility and the development program of the University of Montenegro. Undue and incomplete applications shall be rejected.

In his current term, the Rector of the University of Montenegro is Danilo Nikolic, PhD, who is entitled to re-election.
