EIPODs Inspire Scholarships for undergraduate students and young researchers

EIPODs Inspire scholarships are intended for undergraduate students of natural sciences, from biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics to medicine, computer science and engineering, and enable young researchers to network and follow the latest research in the subject areas.

EIPODs Inspire Scholarships offer:

  • 18th monthly informal mentoring from an interdisciplinary postdoctoral fellow from EMBL, and
  • Attendance at the EMBL Doctoral Symposium (online, December 16-17, 2021).

The program is open to students pursuing a master's degree in EMBL member countries or a potential member eligible for EU enlargement under Horizon 2020, such as: Montenegro, the Republic of Croatia, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Latvia, Luxembourg, the Republic of Malta, Hungary, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Portugal and the Republic of Slovenia.

Candidates can be from any field of natural sciences, but should have an interest in pursuing an interdisciplinary doctorate in natural sciences, or pursue a career in professions related to the natural sciences. Candidates must also attend a workshop (online, 15 December 2021) and an EMBL doctoral symposium (online, 16-17 December 2021).
