University of Montenegro Announces the Call for Awarding Scholarship for Training Young Researchers

The University of Montenegro announces the third call for awarding scholarships to young researchers, PhD students, and postdoctoral candidates at the University of Montenegro for research stays at renowned international institutions to enhance their expertise while working on their doctoral theses.
Over the past two years, more than 20 PhD students have completed research visits as part of a program aimed at advancing science and improving human resources at the University of Montenegro. This program is designed to provide young researchers with opportunities to gain experience and strengthen their research skills and competencies through collaboration with scientists at prestigious academic institutions worldwide. In doing so, we promote the international character of scientific research and emphasize the importance of networking to improve the quality of research outcomes.
Through this call, the University is offering up to 10 scholarships for research stays at renowned higher education and research institutions in Europe or highly developed companies with research and development centres. The following candidates are eligible to apply for research stays:
PhD students at the University of Montenegro (UMNE) who are not employed
Teaching associates who are PhD students (equivalent to research associates or research positions at UMNE)
Teaching associates with a PhD (equivalent to research associates or research positions at UMNE)
Teaching associates engaged at the University of Montenegro who are pursuing PhD studies in fields where no doctoral programs exist at UCG are not eligible to apply for a research stay at the institution where they hold PhD student status.
PhD students and associates who are currently receiving or have previously received other scholarships for doctoral research that include mobility to other institutions are not eligible to apply for these research stays.
