Biography - Lučić Boro

I have been involved in maritime industry since 1991 when I have graduated from Maritime School in Dubrovnik. I have started as cadet on MV Admiral Zmajevic, owned by JUGOOCEANIJA Kotor in august 1991 and then through the years at sea have been climbing through the ranks till 2007 when I have decided to move with family to Pacific and start new carrier as marine surveyor, consultant and recently as professor. In august 2007, I have been appointed as Captain Superintendent of Marine Training Center on Tarawa, Kiribati, owned by six biggest German shipping companies.Since then I have completed BSc studies (Shipyards Management) on University of Tasmania, Australia and then MSc studies (Marine Surveying) on Middlesex University of London, UK. IN 2012, I have been elected as Vice President of Pacific Maritime Association and as Head of her Maritime Training and Education Committee. In march 2016 I have been elected as member of Board of Directors of newly established PACIFIC MARITIME ORGANIZATION which has bring all existing maritime organizations on pacific under one roof. Same year I have been appointed as Branch Manager of NAUTICAL INSTITUTE branch office in Montenegro. Since 20017 I have met with many diplomats and maritime professional and have been working as consultant and project manager for World Bank, IMO and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand. Early 2017 I have left Pacific and returned back home in Herceg Novi where I live today with my wife and two kids.
