Biography - Kalezić Radonjić Svetlana

Svetlana Kalezic-Radonjic (Podgorica, 1980) is assistant professor at University of Montenegro. She teaches Literature for Children and Youth at Faculty of Philology and Faculty of Philosophy (Niksic), being particularly interested in Balkan authors for children and authors that deal both with adult literature and literature for children and youth, as well as where they overlap, touch or bypass. She is author around sixty articles and papers in wide spectrum from Antique and Mediaeval to Modern literature and the author of study Umjetnost rijeci Ivane Brlic-Mažuranic (2011). She published seven individual books of poetry and won many a literature award.

She is a member of Center of young scientists in MASA (Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts), of Croatian  Association of Researches in Children’s Literature (HIDK) and a member of European Network for Comparative Literary Studies (REELC/ ENCLS). She speaks English, French and Italian language. She lives in Podgorica.
