Biography - Samardžić Obrad

MA Obrad Samardzic was born in Bileca (Bosnia and Hertzegovina). where he finished the primary and secondary school. He enrolled Faculty of Sociology in Niksic in 2004 and graduated in 2008 as a student of generation. He enrolled postgraduate master studies in 2009 and graduated with the highest graduate score  of ‘’10’’ (A), with the master thesis entitled ”Social aspects, meaning, significance and importance of time as a social phenomenon”. MA Obrad Samardzic is currently on doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic, working on his doctoral/PhD thesis entitled ”Temporal aspects of socio-cultural dynamics of contemporary society: modern vs. postmodern temporality”. As a scholarship student of the University of Montenegro, he spent one semester at the Lomonosov University in Moscow.

 

Primary research interests:

isdiagnosis of the times and analysis of modernity and post-modernity, normative and empirical foundations of critique of society, theories of the social change and development, sociology of time and historical sociology, sociology of culture and anthropology.
