Biography

Bojana Laković was born on December 22, 1990 in Podgorica. After finishing elementary and high school in Podgorica, she enrolled Faculty of Political Sciences. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, department of Journalism with an average grade of 9,78. For the excellent grades she received scholarship of the Ministry of Education and the award of the Faculty. Currently, she is a student of master studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, department of Public Relations.

As a student she volunteered on Radio 98, daily Pobjeda and daily Blic Montenegro. Bojana started working as a journalist from the second year of studies when she started her career in Independent daily Vijesti. She worked in Universal media Podgorica as a media planner. From 2016 she is working at Trade Union of Media of Montenegro where she is responsible for the researching of journalists and other media workers status in Montenegro. Since October 2017 she is engaged as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Political Science department of Journalism and Media Studies and Journalism.

Bojana has attended numerous courses and trainings in the area of media reporting, as well as media and labor rights. She speaks English and Russian, and knows the basics of Spanish.
