Learning outcomes:

Learning outcomes are designed to be comparable to the Dublin descriptors. There is a possibility to check learning outcomes within the internal Quality Assurance System. Based on the acquired knowledge, competencies and skills, the graduated student will be qualified to work in specialized health care at all levels of health care. After obtaining the master's degree in health care, the learning outcomes achieved are general and specific:

  1. Applies acquired knowledge and skills in the field of health care, through the analysis and synthesis of collected data on the patient, at all levels of health care within clinical nursing and public health;
  2. Determines, plans and organizes the necessary health care for the patient based on the analysis of his condition, synthesis of collected data and prediction of possible consequences;
  3. Applies various multidisciplinary methods in accordance with standards and norms in clinical care and the fields of primary health care and family medicine;
  4. Applies all the principles of teamwork, based on the concept of unique and continuous health care based on evidence, in the areas of internal and surgical nursing, emergency situations, emergency medical care and the areas of health promotion and improvement and disease prevention;
  5. Assesses the needs for human resources in care and treatment in the health care system;
  6. Critically evaluates risk factors of different origins and characteristics of the individual in the pathogenesis of the disease;
  7. Understands the importance of the wider social environment in providing conditions for preserving and improving health (for the individual, family and community);
  8. Applies modern information and communication systems in health care;
  9. Transfers theoretical knowledge and skills in the field of health care at different levels of professional education and in joint work with other experts in the health sector;
  10. Plans and participates in the implementation of original research in the field of nursing work with all population groups of the healthy and sick population, in a team with doctors and other experts;
  11. Develops additional professionalism, independence, ethics and responsibility in work;
  12. Develops competence, communication skills and skills for working in an international environment, in public relations and in crisis situations caused by the epidemiological situation;
  13. Organizes and coordinates the work of the nursing service at all levels of health care;
