Prof. dr Žarko Radović  je rođen 1967. godine u Plužinama. Diplomirao je 1991. godine na Metalurškom fakultetu u Podgorici, gdje je upisao  i postdiplomske studije. Doktorsku disertaciju :" Prilog izučavanju heterogenosti livene strukture legiranih  čelika" odbranio je 2000. godine na Metalurško-tehnološkom fakultetu UCG.
