First and foremost, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the University of Montenegro on its 50th anniversary. Its truly a remarkable milestone, and I feel privileged to have been a part of the university community, even if for a brief period.

I am honored to have the opportunity to share my experience studying at the University of Montenegro.
I am Beritan Karataş
, a mechanical engineer from Diyarbakır, fueled by a fervent passion for innovation and exploration. Driven by a desire to broaden my horizons, I embarked on a journey to the University of Montenegro. Each encounter along the way has become a cherished opportunity for growth in my educational journey, nurtured by my profound interest in technology nurtured by my mechanical engineering background.

Upon my arrival, my curiosity led me to explore both the university and the dormitory. An unforgettable highlight was the exhilarating ride in a Tesla, providing a rare chance to engage with cutting-edge technology—an experience any mechanical engineer would treasure.

In the dormitory, I found myself warmly welcomed by the girls I met, along with the hospitable dorm staff. Their kindness and camaraderie made settling in an enchanting experience, complemented by the breathtaking view of the mountains from my room. Our bonds endured beyond mere acquaintanceship, leading to memorable shared experiences and active participation in various events throughout our time together.

Despite attending a different university, my roommate proved to be an invaluable companion. Drawing from her recent Erasmus experience in Portugal, she enriched our exchanges with diverse perspectives, fostering an environment of mutual learning and growth.

Throughout my academic journey at the University of Montenegro, I encountered an educational environment that emphasized practical application alongside theoretical learning. Engaging in various projects honed my practical skills and deepened my understanding, transcending the conventional boundaries of classroom instruction.

As the sole student in certain English-language courses tailored for Mechanical and Civil Engineering, I seized the opportunity to delve deeper into subjects, nurturing a nuanced comprehension and expanding my intellectual horizons.

Overall, my time at the University of Montenegro was characterized by a harmonious blend of academic rigor and cultural exchange, leaving an indelible imprint on both my personal and professional development as a mechanical engineer.

All the best,

Beritan Karataş
