Upon completion of the course student will be able to: identify the components of programmable logic controllers, connect physically and program PLC, recognize different modules, set up data communication between PLC and PC, connect the inputs and outputs with PLC, write simple ladder logic programs using bits, counters, timers, describe an action in Ladder logic diagram, solve hardware problems with PLC system, identify and solve problems in a Ladder logic diagram.
