After passing the course, the student will be able to: to detect symptoms of attack caused economically most important pests different plant organs; to make difference between harmful and beneficial insects on fruits and grapevine; to match symptoms, damages and development stages of insects to establish intensity of attack caused by pests; to establish intensity of attack; to make decision about control measures of pests according to principles of integrated pest management and biological control measure.
