Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro, Assistant Professor Nikola Milović and Mayor of the Royal capital Cetinje, Aleksandar Bogdanović, signed today Memorandum on Cooperation between two institutions.

Dean Milović expressed pleasure by the visit to Royal Capital Cetinje, which is, as he pointed out, cultural, historical, spiritual and economical center of Montenegro. He emphasized that this is a very important Memorandum on future cooperation between two institutions.

- I especially would like to emphasize that thanks to this agreement the Faculty of Economics shall give opportunity to students to meet more closely with activities in functioning of local self-government with possibility to train students of final year in Royal capital of Cetinje.

Also, I would like to remind that through accreditation process we reformed all study programs and accorded them with practice of leading faculties in European educational space. New curriculum, which starts to be implemented in this year, introduces new solutions, which will contribute to quality organization of studies, and, finally, result in increase of competitiveness of the Faculty of Economics - Milović stated.

Mayer Bogdanović expressed pleasure by todays’ signing of Memorandum on cooperation, pointing out that this is one in a row of activities of local government directed to creation of conditions for more dynamic and comprehensive development of our town.

- Without any doubt, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro shall present one of important partners to our town in implementation of obligations and achieving defined goals related to whole economic development and improvement of life standard of citizens of Montenegrin Royal capital.

I believe that todays’ signing of Memorandum presents formalization of already established, meaningful cooperation between our institutions. We already work together on projects which should contribute to establishing new, sustainable contents and services provided by local government to our citizens and tourists. Therefore, in the forthcoming period, we shall work on all initiatives and projects which make benefits for our town and our citizens – Bogdanović emphasized.

During todays’ meeting, we agreed on carrying out concrete activities directed to implementation of signed Memorandum on Cooperation between Royal Capital Cetinje and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro.
