Panel Discussion: The Proactive Role of Youth in Preventing Hate Speech

We invite you to attend the panel discussion "The Proactive Role of Youth in Preventing Hate Speech", which will take place on February 3rd at 12:00 PM at the Faculty of Law. The event is organized by the Informal Group "Ad Maiora" in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro.

The panel will bring together representatives of NGOs working in the field of media and hate speech prevention, activists, and youth organization representatives, including:

  • Olivera Nikolić, representing the Montenegrin Institute for Media,
  • Dr. Slađana Kavarić Mandić, philosopher,
  • Ana Novović, student and member of the Student Council of the Faculty of Law, UCG,
  • Jovan Bojović, Program Director of Juventas.

The discussion will welcome young people, students, representatives of the media and NGOs, officials from key institutions responsible for monitoring human rights protection, as well as human rights activists.

This panel discussion is organized as part of the project "Education Against Hate Speech: Youth as Drivers of a Tolerant Society", implemented by the Informal Group "Ad Maiora" in partnership with the NGO Yellow Turtle, with the support of NGOs Juventas, Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), Queer Montenegro, and the Open Center Bona Fide. The project is supported by the Delegation of the European Union through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights for Montenegro 2022 (EIDHR) program.
