Prof. dr Dečan Ivanović, redovni profesor, rođen je 16.06.1951. godine u Podgorici, Crna Gora. Diplomirao je i doktorirao (Nestacionarni laminarni granični sloj nestišljivog fluida) na Mašinskom fakultetu u Podgorici, a magistrirao na Mašinskom fakultetu u Beogradu. Za docenta je izabran 1992.godine, za vanrednog profesora 1997.godine, a za redovnog profesora Univerziteta 2002.godine. Na osnovnim studijama mašinstva drži predavanja iz predmeta: Primijenjena mehanika fluida VIs, Transport...
