As part of Erasmus Days and the Welcome Week for Erasmus+ students, a panel discussion titled “Erasmus+: More than ECTS Credits” was held, organized by the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility. The event brought together students, academic and non-academic staff with the aim of promoting the opportunities and benefits that the Erasmus+ programme offers to mobility participants.

The panelists included Bogdan Medenica, a student of the Faculty of Architecture; Iva Roganović, a student of the Faculty of Economics; and Staša Bošković, a representative of ESN Podgorica and a student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. From the staff, the speakers were Assist. Prof. Ena Grbović and Ana Ajković, associate from the Legal Service.

During the discussion, participants shared their personal and professional experiences gained through student and staff mobility. It was particularly emphasized that Erasmus+ is not only an opportunity to earn ECTS credits, but also a valuable experience that contributes to building an international network of contacts, improving language and communication skills, strengthening independence, and enhancing professional competencies.

The panel also addressed additional opportunities arising from the University membership in European university alliance ULYSSEUS, which enables broader cooperation for students and staff with partner institutions across Europe.

The panel discussion was held within the ESN AIR project, whose main goal is to encourage greater involvement of students—especially student organizations—in the institutional life of universities in the Adriatic-Ionian region, with the aim of improving internationalization practices in higher education.
