Call for International Conference: ‘Social and Cultural Research of the European Union: Western Balkans Perspectives’

Department for Ethnology and Anthropology of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University in Belgrade, within Jean Monnet module ‘Anthropology of the European Union’, calls all interested students of bachelor, master and PhD studies from countries of the Western Balkans to international student conference ‘Socio-Cultural Research of the European Union: Western Balkan Perspectives’ intended for students on all levels.
Aim of the Conference is to give opportunity to students of all levels of studies to expose results of their so far research from ethnological and anthropological and related social humanistic perspectives regarding directly or indirectly the European Union. This encounter will provide exchange of knowledge and research perspectives and open space for dialogue firstly concerning cultural, social and political aspects of the European integration. The Conference is the opportunity to establish or profound the existing cooperation among colleagues in the region and also to form network of experts for social and cultural aspects or Europeanisation, and who would in the future cooperate in research and teaching especially within programs supported by the European Union.
The Conference will be held on June 19th 2020 in the hall 108 of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
Deadline for abstract delivery is February 1st 2020.
Papers that are delivered and accepted on time will be printed in a multilingual online collection paper with the review by academic publisher.
Language of the Conference, as language of abstract and chapter for collection paper are English and mother languages of participants.
Instructions for Writing and Sending Abstract
Abstract shall be sent to the mail address: aeum@f.bg.ac.rs with the following information: name and surname, level of studies and study affiliation, title of the paper. The abstract should not be longer than 250 words and it should contain 5 key words.
Duration of presentation of paper: 20 minutes
Participation fee is not paid. Organizers will provide refreshment during the conference while travel and accommodation costs shall not be paid by us.
