Presentation of the Ulysseus Pedagogical Guidelines – Online Workshop, October 31

As part of the Ulysseus European University Alliance, Pedagogical Guidelines have been published, offering a modern perspective on teaching and learning methods within the alliance. The guidelines present a set of flexible principles and practical tools designed to help professors and staff develop dynamic, student-centered teaching approaches that foster innovation, collaboration, and shared learning.

They were created through a co-creation process within the Ulysseus Pedagogical Development Steering Group, with contributions from academic staff across all partner universities, and are based on real pedagogical experiences and practices.

The guidelines are structured into three interconnected sections that cover innovative pedagogical approaches, key teaching elements and methods, and concrete tools that can support the design of various learning formats — from COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) activities and BIPs (Blended Intensive Programs) to virtual joint courses and degree programs.

The Ulysseus approach to teaching emphasizes continuous exploration, collaboration, and exchange of experiences among universities, aiming to create inspiring and meaningful learning experiences.

To mark the publication of the guidelines, an online workshop titled “Sneak Peek into Ulysseus Pedagogical Guidelines” will be held on October 31, 2025, from 12:00 to 13:30 CET. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the guidelines and share experiences with colleagues from across the alliance.
