Ulysseus Panel Discussion "Women in Technology: Leading Digital Transformation”

The Ulysseus European University Network is organizing an online panel discussion titled "Women in Technology: Leading the Digital Transformation" on April 24, 2025, starting at 10:30 AM. The event is intended for all students interested in a career in the field of information and communication technologies.
This discussion will bring together students, alumni, and experts from partner universities within the Ulysseus network, who will share their experiences and discuss challenges and opportunities in the dynamic world of technology. Special focus will be placed on the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the ICT sector, while encouraging and empowering women to choose careers in these fields.
Through the panel discussion, participants will gain valuable insights into the world of ICT and STEM fields, exploring career opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, and data science. The panel will consist of four female panellists – students, alumni, and experts from the ICT sector from Ulysseus alliance partner universities – along with a moderator.
One of the panellists will be Jasna Zeković, who graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specializing in electronics, as well as from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, specializing in mathematics, at the University of Donja Gorica. In addition, she is the recipient of numerous awards in mathematics and physics. Alongside her extensive experience in business process optimization, software solution coordination, and system automation, Jasna is a dedicated educator in mentoring young talents and promoting scientific literacy.
As the founder of the Montenegrin Association for Science STEMATICS, Jasna contributes to the development of science and technology education and fosters youth interest in STEM fields. Through workshops, conferences, and research activities, Jasna actively contributes to the development of the STEM community, connecting science, technology, and entrepreneurship, and bringing academia closer to the industry.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with a like-minded community, ask questions, and gain valuable advice for professional development.
👉 Registration for the online panel discussion is available via the registration link, and more information about the event can be found on the Ulysseus website.
This discussion is being organized in honour of the International Girls in ICT Day, which is celebrated every fourth Thursday in April, and represents a global encouragement for young women to explore career opportunities in technology. The goal is to break down stereotypes, reduce the gender gap, and send the message that the world of technology is open to everyone – regardless of gender.
By sharing the stories of women who are shaping the digital future, this day inspires young people to dream big and consider a career in innovation. Technology is not just programming – it is problem-solving, creating new solutions, and making a real impact on the world.
