On Friday, 8/12/2023. In a nearby Chinese restaurant in Podgorica, the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro organized an unforgettable gathering for professors and the best students of Chinese language courses.
Those present had the opportunity to enjoy the culinary magic and learn what hot pot consists of, how it is used and what it represents for the Chinese people. Each participant of this culinary event had the opportunity to personalize their meal, choosing between cooking different types of meat, vegetables, mushrooms, etc.
Chinese hot pot is extremely popular in China and is believed to help strengthen friendships and bring families, colleagues and friends together. The warm and cheerful atmosphere contributes to the creation of a pleasant, comfortable and relaxed environment that gives the whole event a special charm, so this was also a great opportunity for getting to know each other, socializing, and learning in unconventional conditions.
By the way, hot pot, also known as "huǒ guō" in Chinese, is a popular Chinese dish consisting of hot soup to which various ingredients such as meat, vegetables, mushrooms, noodles and tofu are added.
