University of Montenegro announces admission call: applications begin tomorrow

The University of Montenegro (UCG) announced today the call for student admissions to the first year of undergraduate studies at the University of Montenegro for the 2024/25 academic year. The competition provides a total of 3,186 places, and more details are available at the link Competition on the UCG website.

The call text describes the details for electronic applications through the platform upisi.edu.me, in accordance with the program of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation. Exceptionally, if the application cannot be submitted electronically, candidates can submit their application directly through the student services of the organizational unit.

Applications for the call are to be submitted on June 28 and 29 until 4:00 PM, when the electronic application system will close. If the application is submitted directly to the organizational unit, it must be submitted on the specified days during the working hours of the student services.

Tests in two subjects relevant to the continuation of education for candidates who did not have an external matriculation or professional exam will be held on July 1, 2024. The schedule for the exams will be posted on the websites of the organizational units.

Entrance exams for faculties and academies that organize them, which are additional admission requirements, will be held from July 2 to 3, 2024, according to the schedule that will be posted on the websites of the organizational units.

Entrance exams are organized for admission to the study programs: Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, Psychology, Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles, as well as professional-artistic study programs.

The enrollment of candidates and the issuance of certificates will be completed by July 6, 2024, according to the schedule of the organizational units.

We remind you that the process of electronically signing the study contract at the University of Montenegro has also been improved as the final step in the electronic enrollment at the University of Montenegro. The electronic signing service for the Study Contract was developed last year within the project "E-services as a Response to Covid-19," funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Administration. The aim of the project is to encourage young people to use digital services in their interactions with institutions, without waiting in lines and collecting documents.
