Donation of The Company Sport Vision for Supporting Students of the University of Montenegro

The co-owners of the Sport Vision Company, Petar and Vladimir Veličković, symbolically presented a donation of €2,000 today to the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro, Milivoje Radović, PhD. These funds will be directed towards development of the University of Montenegro Alumni Association funds, including the Financial Support Fund for students in need, the Research and Study Stay Fund, and the sponsorship of the scientific research project “Application of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework in the Context of University Networks.”

Funds have been established at the initiative of Radović, PhD by the UMNE Steering Committee, aimed at supporting students and researchers and encourage the alumni community to actively participate. “Example set by donors Petar and Vladimir Veličković demonstrates the importance of synergy between universities and the business sector in improving conditions for future generations. If we help them, we help ourselves as well,” Milivoje Radović, PhD, explained.

Founded in 1996, Sport Vision is a leading sports retail company in the Balkans, operating in 13 countries and employing over 6,000 workers. In addition to its business success, the company is distinguished by its socially responsible actions. “Our vision includes investing in the community and recognizing the potential of younger generations because we believe education is the key to the progress of any society,” Petar Veličković said.

The research project, managed by Savo Tomović, PhD, aims to improve the security of university networks through threat analysis, attack simulation, and the application of the MITRE ATT&CK framework. The project actively involves students, and its results have potential applications in the business sector as well.

The University of Montenegro expresses its gratitude to the donors, believing that this initiative will inspire other alumni and partners to contribute to the development of the academic community and the betterment of society as a whole.
