First Enrolment Term: 2.639 Candidates for Undergraduate Studies on the University of Montenegro Applied
At the University of Montenegro, for admission to the first year of undergraduate studies for 2025/26 academic year, a total of 2,639 candidates applied in the first enrolment period, of which 2,348 applied electronically, and 291 in person, by submitting documents to the student services office.
We remind you that the Call for Applications provides a total of 3,281 places at 19 faculties of the University of Montenegro, of which 3,201 are budget-financed, while 80 self-financed places are provided for the study program in English – Business and Economics (Faculty of Economics).
According to preliminary data, the number of applicants per organizational unit is as follows: Faculty of Architecture – 89, Faculty of Biotechnology – 37, Faculty of Economics – 336, Faculty of Electrical Engineering – 277, Faculty of Dramatic Arts – 22, Faculty of Fine Arts – 30, Faculty of Political Science – 156, Faculty for Sport and Physical Education – 80, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality – 59, Faculty of Philology – 97, Faculty of Philosophy – 286, Faculty of Civil Engineering – 86, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – 78, Faculty of Medicine – 398, Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology – 24, Music Academy – 22, Maritime Faculty Kotor – 124, Faculty of Law – 278, and Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics – 160, which makes a total of 2,639 applications.
Entrance exams, as an additional requirement for admission to certain faculties and academies, will be organized on July 1 and 2, 2025, according to schedules that will be published on the websites of the organizational units. Entrance exams are taken for the following study programs: Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, Psychology, Physical Education and Healthy Lifestyles, as well as for professional-artistic study programs.
The enrolment of candidates and issuance of confirmation certificates will be completed no later than July 4, 2025, in accordance with the schedule of the organizational units.
The enrolment of students at the University of Montenegro is further regulated by the Rulebook on Conditions, Criteria, and Procedures for Enrolment in Undergraduate Studies, which is available on the official website.
