The aim of the Memorandum is to connect the academic community and the business sector through the implementation of practical training, the exchange of professional knowledge and experience, as well as joint work on scientific research projects and innovative solutions in the field of ecology and environmental protection.

“By signing this Memorandum, we aim to open new opportunities for our students and teaching staff, while also contributing to a better and more responsible relationship with the environment. Cooperation with Deponija represents a concrete step toward strengthening collaboration with the business sector, developing innovative solutions, and advancing knowledge in areas of importance for society and the environment,” said Rector Božović.

The Executive Director of Deponija, Aleksandar Božović, emphasized that the Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Montenegro represents an important step in connecting the business sector and the academic community with the goal of improving sustainable waste management and environmental protection.

“Through this cooperation, we aim to make a concrete contribution to the development of professional knowledge, the application of modern solutions in the field of the circular economy, and the creation of conditions for the practical training of students. This partnership is not merely a formality—it is a call to action, innovation, and responsible conduct that shapes the future of Montenegro, where knowledge, practice, and sustainable development go hand in hand. We believe that joint projects and the exchange of experience can bring long-term benefits both for our company and the University, as well as for the wider community,” he concluded.
