Competition for Enrolment in PhD Studies of the University of Montenegro in October

The University of Montenegro will announce, in October, competition for enrolment in doctoral studies for study 2019/2020 year according to delivered proposals made by authorized proposers: faculties, Centre for PhD Studies and Senate UoM, and after decision passed by the Steering Committee UoM.  

Head of the Centre for PhD Studies Predrag Miranovic, PhD said that 12 faculties by now have delivered proposals for 106 vacancies for enrolment in doctoral studies.

Image‘The right to apply for competition for enrolment in doctoral studies have candidates who obtained diploma of academic master title within corresponding field of science/art, i.e. academic diploma of regulated professions after acquired 300 ECTS minimum’, Miranovic said. 

Enrolment is on competitive grounds, in accordance with average grade from previous level of studies, after conducted ranking procedure.  

All details about enrolment will be underlined in the text of announcement and students will be provided all additional information by commissions for doctoral studies in faculty units as well as student service departments of faculties.

‘Scholarship for doctoral studies last year was from 250 to 2000 Euros per semester, so this year the scholarship is expected to be within limits of studies from previous years’, Head of the Centre, Miranovic, PhD, said.

Competition for doctoral studies will be announced in the following faculties: the Biotechnical Faculty (Biotechnology), The Faculty of Economics (Economics), The Faculty of Electrical Engineering (Electrical Engineering), The Faculty of Political Sciences, The Faculty for Sport and Physical Culture (Physical Culture), The Faculty for Tourism and Hotel Management (Tourism), The Faculty of Philology (Language and Literature), The Faculty of Philosophy, The Faculty of Civil Engineering (Civil Construction), The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (Mechanics), The Faculty of Medicine (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy), The Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology (Metallurgy and Materials), The Maritime Faculty Kotor (Maritime Management and Logistics, Maritime Sciences), The Faculty of Law (Legal Sciences) and The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (Mathematics, Computer science, Physics, Biology).
