Beginning of the Montenegrin language course for foreign students at the University of Montenegro

The International Relations and Mobility Office at the University of Montenegro is pleased to announce that yesterday, on October 15, a Montenegrin language course for foreign students began. The course is intended for students staying at our university for one semester or longer. Participants include students from the Erasmus+ program, as well as some from the MONTEB program at the Faculty of Economics. Additionally, a lecturer from the Francophone Office of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), who will be residing at the University of Montenegro for the coming year, is also taking part in the program.

The course is led by Professor Petar Božović, who has been successfully working with our international students for many years, helping them not only in learning the language but also in gaining a deeper understanding of Montenegrin culture. His work greatly contributes to the internationalization of our university while also supporting the preservation of the Montenegrin language and cultural heritage.

The goal of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge of the Montenegrin language, enabling them to integrate more easily into the local community. Through language, our students will have the opportunity to explore Montenegrin traditions, customs, and culture.

We extend a warm welcome to all students and look forward to learning and collaborating together!
