Biografija

Dr  Žarko Barjaktarović je rođen u Podgorici 10.03.1976 gdje je završio osnovnu školu i gimnaziju prirodnog smjera. Diplomirao je biohemiju 2003 god. na katedri za Biohemiju Hemijskog  Fakulteta, Univerziteta u Beogradu. Prvi radni odnos zasniva kao biohemicar u Institutu za Javno Zdravlje Crne Gore. U julu 2004 godine dobija stipendiju za doktorski rad na Univerzitetu „Eberhard Karls“ u Tuebingenu, Njemacka, gdje ubrzo zasniva i radni odnos.  U Tuebingenu je radio kao naučni istraživač na svom doktorskom radu u okviru projekta Njemačke Svemirske Agencije (DLR). Takođe, pored naučno istraživačkog rada je aktivno učestvovao u organizovanju studentskih vježbi u i bio laboratorijski mentor bačelor i master studentima. Dobitnik je priznanja Evropske Svenirske Agencija za izuzetan doprinos u naucno-istrazivackom radu. Nakon odbranjenog doktorata 2008 godine i postdoktorskog rada, u maju 2009 pocinje da radi u naučnom centru za biomedicinska istraživanja Helmholtz Centar u Minhenu sve do sredine 2016 godine. Radio je na tri evropska projekta FP7 programa (CardioRisk, ProCardio i DarkRisk projekti) na Institutu za Biologiju zračenja i Institutu za Farmakologiju i Toksikologiju. Predavao je Master studentima Tehničkog Univerziteta (TU) u Minhenu i bio mentor u laboratorijskom radu nekoliko doktoranata. Objavio je 25 naučnih radova i jednu knjigu, uglavnom na istraživanjima terapije kancera i toksikološkim ispitivanjima kardiovaskularnih oboljenja nastalih radioterapijom. Radovi su objavljeni u referentnim zurnalima visokog impakt faktora i imaju znacajan broj citata (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=zarko+barjaktarovic).  Autor je nekoliko inovativnih biohemijskih metoda i potencijalnih terapija, koje se nalaze u fazi pretkliničkih ispitivanja. Radio je na nekoliko velikih naučnih projekata Evropske komisije, kao i Njemačkih nacionalnih fondova. U toku rada u Njemackoj, boravio je po nekoliko nedjelja na naucnom radu u Svedskoj, Francuskoj i Japanu. Bio je prezenter na seminarima i konferencijama u mnogim EU zemljama, Americi, Australiji i Rusiji.U Minhenu je 2016 godine specijalizirao oblast „Life Science Management“. Trenutno radi u Agenciji za ljekove Crne Gore na jačanju naučnih kapaciteta Agencije i umrežavanju sa partnerskim institucijama u okviru EU, kao i razvitku regulatornog sistema kontrole bioloških naprednih terapija.  Član je menadžment borda evropskog naučnog projekta „Vaccine Adjuvants“ gdje aktivno učestvuje u okviru svoje naučne ekspertize. Trenutno se bavi aplikacijom metoda sistemske toksikologije na razvitku bioloskih naprednih terapija, kao i instrumentalnih hemijskih metoda  za kontrolu kvaliteta ljekova.  Govori tečno Njemački i Engleski jezik (nivoi C1-C2).
