Info Day on Erasmus+ CBHE Programme Held in Podgorica
An info day dedicated to the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme was held on April 17, 2025, at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro. The aim of the event was to strengthen the capacity of the academic community in preparing project proposals under this prestigious EU programme.
The event gathered a significant number of participants from various university units based in Podgorica. Notably, 70% of attendees indicated that they had not previously submitted project proposals, highlighting a strong potential for expanding the applicant base and encouraging new initiatives within the CBHE call.
The info day was officially opened by the Head of the Project Office, Mr. Miljan Šuković, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of such events in fostering a project-oriented culture at the University.
Following the opening, Mr. Filip Petrović presented the general features of the Erasmus+ CBHE programme, outlining the key priorities, participation rules, and expected outcomes of project initiatives.
Successful project stories were shared by Prof. Radovan Stojanović, who spoke about his experience with the MARDS project, and Assoc. Prof. Marija Jevrić, who presented insights from the SMARTWB project, emphasizing the benefits for both academic staff and students.
Mr. Vladan Perazić and Mr. Nikola Pavlović delivered a detailed overview of the administrative, technical, and financial aspects that applicants must consider during the project proposal development process. Their presentations included practical advice, common mistakes, and useful tips for successful applications.
The organizers announced that info days will also be held in other cities where the University of Montenegro has its units, with timely notifications to follow.
These info days represent a significant step toward strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing the internationalization of the University of Montenegro through participation in EU-funded projects aimed at modernizing higher education.
