Open Applications for Online Lectures on: Application of 3D Printing in Different Professions

University of Montenegro calls all the interested to apply for online lecture on topic 3D Printing in various professions, which will be held on May 15th at 12 ‘clock within Ulysseus network.

Lecture is open as for students as well for non-academic staff, giving insight into fundamental principles of additive production (3D print), as well as application of this technology in state of the art industries.

At this lecture, participants will adopt crucial steps such as selection of materials, principle of design and fast development of prototypes, which are necessary for innovations and problem solving. Also, lecture will encourage creativity and practical learning, helping assistants to bridge over the gap between theory and real world.

Understanding 3D print also widens possibilities for career, giving the option for obtaining skills relevant for different careers on the labour market.

Registration is open until May 15 via the registration link. A link to follow the online lecture will be sent to all registered participants. The lecture will last 45 minutes.

This workshop informs about:

• Learning basics of additive manufacturing – principles, processes, and materials used in 3D printing across various industries;
• Application in different fields – exploring how 3D printing is transforming industries such as healthcare, engineering, architecture, and product design;
• Design and prototyping skills – learning how to create and refine digital models, choose appropriate materials, and efficiently develop prototypes;
• Career and innovation opportunities – gaining insight into how 3D printing opens new career paths and fosters creativity in solving real-world challenges.

The workshop will be led by Milena Đukanović, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro, where she teaches basics of 3D modelling and 3D printing. In addition, she is the founder of the MiĐu brand, known for 3D-printed accessories, jewellery, and clothing. She is an award-winning expert in the field of design and 3D printing, recognized for her innovative contributions to this area. She has received multiple accolades for her work in integrating advanced digital manufacturing techniques into product design, fashion, and jewellery, showcasing the transformative potential of 3D printing in the creative industries.
