The Innovation Hub for Cybersecurity organizes its first Ulysseus event

The Innovation Hub for Cybersecurity at the University of Montenegro will hold mentoring sessions for student teams working on the Cyber Challenge Lab project, with professors from universities within the Ulysseus Alliance. This event will take place online on September 18 and 19, 2024.

The Cyber Challenge Lab is a key initiative within our educational program, aimed at fostering creativity, research, and interest in cybersecurity among students. In its first year, we gathered over 30 students from various university departments, including electrical engineering, natural sciences, law, economics, and psychology. These interdisciplinary teams, supported by experts from both the public and private sectors, as well as the University, have been working on cybersecurity challenges from July to October. During the mentoring sessions, student teams will present their challenges and proposed solutions, and then receive advice from international experts within the Ulysseus Alliance on how to improve them.

The final presentations of student projects will take place on October 23, in recognition of European Cybersecurity Month.

This project has received support from representatives of the Parliament of Montenegro, CIRT, companies Un1quly, Sky – express, Čikom, and Vještak, and is being implemented in collaboration between the University of Montenegro and the Women4Cyber organization, along with partners from the Ulysseus Alliance.
